There is a special charm to this quaint little old mining village that you would see why it’s the real-life inspiration for the Spirited Away movies. There’s artsy little shops, authentic teahouses and restaurants nestled along hills and narrow wooden stairways in the most beautiful mountain setting. Mix this with the red lanterns that line the streets and a giant cat statue that randomly sits on one of the rooftops, it really is a picturesque scene with a touch of romance 🙂
